It's the most wonderful time of the year…or the worst. Depends on how you feel about sensationalist mainstream gaming culture. Either way, Dan and Mike were supposed to talk about E3, but instead they spent almost two hours talking about how they still love Nintendo despite Nintendo. No, but seriously, this is a long one, but we try to highlight the most important bits of E3 this year, including all the drama, games, and performances that the gaming press has filtered so elegantly for us to digest. |

Dan is back and Mike's no longer rambling on about "Hey, Arnold!" So everything is better! Except that Danny is still MIA, but baby steps, am I right? Anyways, this week (and technically last) we're talking about the news on everyone's buttery lips, the Xbox One reveal! We first start off with our pre-announcement predictions, which were recorded (Scout's honor...except for the gay hating part) before the actual announcement. We then recorded our reactions so you could hear in REAL TIME what we thought of that ludicrous display. We also Wave some stuff, and then we do a "What Have You Been Playing" where instead of talking about video games, Mike tells us all about how great Fast & Furious 6 was. |

How does the Multiplayer Podcast celebrate 50 episodes? By leaving Mike alone without the resources to record an actual episode. We're hitting brand new lows this week as Mike gives us a taste of his OTHER hit podcast series "All About Arnold" wherein he provides play-by-play commentary of episodes of Nickelodeon's original animated series "Hey Arnold!". We'd give you a link to the full series, but, you know...content restrictions...copyright...protection...DRM? I don't know. You try and record a podcast by yourself without killing your own clones. YOU'RE NOT MY REAL DAD! |

We ate the bones?! Mike is back from "Spring Break" and Dan has regained his sanity. Thankfully both of them have seen Iron Man 3 and played Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon so that they can talk about those things. This is exactly what they do in this episode. Funny how that is, isn't it?

Mike and Dan are alone and bored and haven't really been exposing themselves to any external stimuli lately. Inasmuch there isn't a whole lot to say. Last week was a fucking nightmare, so there's not much to talk about. Despite this, Dan has actually played a few games worth mentioning. Mike is recovering from a case of the Moon Flu. And now that we're not on lockdown, we can talk about the Nintendo Direct and all the wonderful things Mr. Iwata and friends promised us. It's the greatest day at Multiplayer!

Mike and Dan are still alone on the Moon, and the loneliness has really gotten to them. Inasmuch this weeks episode is barely an episode at all, and instead is our dejected hosts wasting time talking about Batman: Arkham Origins, why Capcom hates Mega Man, and a myriad of other stupid garbage. In an attempt to redeem themselves, however, they do follow through on their promise to watch and review Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated, as was recommended by a listener last week. It's a grand-ol' waste of time on Multiplayer: The Official Podcast. Maybe next week things will be better. Maybe not. Who knows?

We (Mike and Dan) are still a duo as Danny is off saving the outer rim planets from otherwise certain demise. This gives us the perfect opportunity to gush over Bioshock Infinite. Spoiler alert: We really like Bioshock Infinite…also we spoil THE ENTIRE GAME. We're not kidding, we talk about everything. If you haven’t played the game, we insist you DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS SEGMENT and go play the game spoiler free. You deserve to play it spoiler free. Also, we know they’re called the Boys of Silence. Dan fucked up. Oops! The rest of our time is spent talking about Luigi’s Mansion, and we confirm the existence of our official plans to play every Zelda game in order of the timeline in the Hyrule Historia. More details to emerge soon.

PAX East 2013 has come to a close, and our hearts are filled with muy sadness, or whatever the Spanish word for "sadness" is. Mike and Dan sit down to talk about all the craziness that happened and then start drooling over Bioshock Infinite. Danny is off galavanting through the stars, but we'll have updates from him as he saves planets and civilzations from the brink of total destruction. Next week we'll return to our regularly scheduled funny stuff. So stay tuned! |

Did you know Fez is coming out for the PC? You did? That's awesome! Play Fez again. After a brief return to The Inverted Place, we talk about Bravest Warriors Season 1. We also make brief mention of something happening in Boston this week. Oh what could it be? Gah, it's on the tip of my tongue! Oh well, I'm sure it's not important. Club Multiplayer this month is “Chew” by John Layman and Rob Guillory. We’ll be reading the first two trades in the series for our discussion at the end of the month. And of course, by "the end of the month", I mean, "the start of next month" because something is getting in the way. Oh, what was it...
